Each mouse is fully disassembled and prepped with an adhesion promoter and plastic primer. Multiple layers of high-quality aerosol paint are then applied, followed by detailed hand-finishing. After curing, the mouse is sealed with a professional-grade 2K clear coat that chemically protects the surface and maximizes durability and longevity.

The paint won’t affect the mouse’s performance. For most orders, we use a protective satin clear coat that feels close to the original factory finish. If you prefer a shinier look, semi-gloss and gloss finishes are available, though they can feel a little slicker in your hand.

Every custom mouse goes through our 11-step painting process and is sealed with a durable 2K clear coat. We back that finish with our 3-Year No Fade Guarantee.

If the paint fades, or the paint or decals begin to peel or chip within three years, contact us. We’ll work with you to repaint the mouse or, if repainting isn’t possible, replace it.
